  • “My children have been attending Luella Academy for over two years now.  Jaxson and Peyton have gained great knowledge that they will utilize for starting their education since they started at Luella.  Luella Academy is not a “baby sitting service” or “playground.” It is a “LEARNING FACILITY.”  The strong curriculum that is set forth for the classrooms is remarkable!  I scouted for six months looking for the perfect place where my boys could grow educationally and Luella was the overall winner.  Luella employees are great!  From the excellent Director to the teaching staff who are well prepared, I can comfortably relax and not worry about my boys, as I know they will come home telling me what they have learned in the media center, showing me amazing art work and singing songs!    Peyton is 3 ½ and enrolled fulltime and Jaxson is 6 and is in the after school program.  Luella takes pride in the Director and Instructors they have, as every teacher I have met sincerely cares about the children, from teaching them respect and preparing them for their future endeavors!

At Luella Academy we are dedicated to providing learning environment for our students. Located just south of Atlanta in McDonough, Georgia since 2007, we continue to care for and educate children from ages 6 weeks to 12 years.

Offering the Creative Curriculum, we raise the bar for early learning, challenging our students while encouraging them to express themselves creatively through the arts, also offering a Media center and computer lab for our older pre schoolers. In addition to our pre school curriculum, we offer programs for school-aged children including Georgia Pre-K, before school care, The After School Zone and Summer Camp.

We make a strong effort to teach your child the basics of health and nutrition, offering a nutritious menu that provides your child with a component from each food group, from breakfast to lunch with healthy snacks in between.

The Starting Line Athletic program will soon be offered at this location as well, providing an additional opportunity for your child to learn the basics of T-Ball, Football, Basketball and Soccer.

At Luella Academy we strive to provide a safe and secure learning environment for your family, using a keypad door entry system as well as a state of the art thumbprint identification system to check your children in and out. We also have a closed-circuit camera recording system that allows us to monitor what our classes are up to at all times.
